I haven't done a great job about keeping this updated with the latest information on how things are going. So with that, here is a quick run-down of where I'm at with Relativity: Returning Home. It's getting released April 7th! It's that simple. Just kidding. There was a lot that went into that, so here is the run-down.

Following the release of Relativity: First Contact in September of 2024, I switched gears right away to finishing Returning Home. It was already through the second detailed draft and ready for the first set of reviews. For the rest of September and October I finished the reviews and incorporated comments from others. Leading up to November, I had to make a decision, which everyone on the different social medias helped with. Do I power through and finish book 2 ahead of schedule, or do I take a break and start on book 3. With results in, I combined starting book 3, with the NaNoWriMo Challenge where you challenge yourself to write a whole manuscript in a month, or at least the first draft. It was tough, and mixed in with a vacation, I had to pull double duty. But I made it. I finished the first draft and about half way through the second draft of book 3...all in November.

After that, I turned my focus back to book 2. I needed to get a Department of Defense pre-publication review done, my cover art done, and my final edits done. That was a lot to finish with a goal of publishing by the end of March. I just missed the goal, but wanted a better finished product over meeting a random goal. The new date chosen carries a lot more meaning to me anyway.

Now you're all caught up on book 2. Updates to book 3 and future projects are incoming. Stay tuned!
