First Contact Update - Defense Office Prepublication and Security Review

The first installment of Relativity, First Contact is in the final stages of review at the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review. This process can take 4-6 weeks, but is the final piece in the puzzle before the book is officially released.
While this is a non-typical step for many writers, it is an important and necessary step for me. It is a safety net, due to my background, current roles in the military, and active security clearance, to make sure that anything written in my stories, even though they are science fiction, does not reveal anything that could be damaging from a security standpoint.
